Philippine Embassy Islamabad, Pakistan

I settled in Pakistan for more than a year, being a foreigner I have to register all my family documents to the Embassy for legality purposes.  I very thankful to the Philippines Embassy Islamabad,  they are prompt in forwarding back the necessary documents like marriage registration certificate, birth registration certification and other documents. When I requested for NOC (Notification of no Objection) for few days only they calls me for confirmation then they sent it to my home address. As long as the documents filled up correctly, returnee address is accurate and the money order enclosed then, you can always receive the documents on time.

Philippine Embassy Islamabad is accessible for those residing in Islamabad or neighboring city, but not to the Filipino living in Karachi. For issuance of new passport it needs an actual appearance.

I hope there will be a good one officer in-charge of Philippine Embassy in Karachi for the convenience of visa and passport applicants in Karachi, Pakistan.

Mabuhay Food Stuff

Filipino food stuff like sardines, Pancit Canton, Bihon, Barrio Fiesta Alamang, Chips, and so on, is all available in Mabuhay food shop. For those who love to prepare at home Jelly,    Mr. Gulaman powder can be found here, because the Jelly ready mix in Pakistan is not as good as Mr. Gulaman usually the jelly mix available in Pakistan is made from cow skin not like Mr. Gulaman  is  made from  100% dried seaweeds  it is also perfect  for  jelly  dessert and for jelly cold drink during summer season.

Being away from homeland sometimes our appetite craving for the food we used  to but even though how  eager you are to cook or  eat certain food  however,  if the basic ingredients are not available then all you can do is just to think of it nothing else. I remember when I was pregnant I’m longing to eat Filipino food  I’m trying to browse online if there is  Filipino shop in Karachi I found nothing until I met a Priest in a money gram outlet in Hyderabad then, he gave Tita Del number. That’s how I came to know the Mabuhay Food Stuff.
